The Ole Miss Rebel football team is projected to go 10-2 in 2013, despite playing one of the toughest schedules in the country. The two toughest road games will be at Texas (week 3) and at Alabama (week 5). They will be playing LSU and Texas A&M at home, both of which will be against a very tough opponent.

Why such a generous projection? With the #1 overall recruit Robert Nkemdiche, along with Laquon Treadwell, Laremy Tunsil, Quincy Adeboyejo, Nickolas Brassell, Ryan Buchanan, Antonio Conner, Mark Dodson Jr., Austin Golson, Lavon Hooks, among others, the Ole Miss rebels will be a tough team in the SEC for years to come.

The X Factor: We expect the 2013 Ole Miss Rebels to gel even more than last year. Why? Coach Freeze has done an amazing job making the kids believe in themselves, and the program. And they have the Nkemdiche brothers!

I think we will learn a lot about this team following their week 1 showdown at Vandy. A mediocre Vanderbilt team should not pose any problems for the Ole Miss Rebels, but if they do… We could see a 7-5 or 6-6 team. I expect Ole Miss to blow out Vandy and Southern Missouri, setting up a huge game in Texas.

I am excited for College Football, and I can’t wait to see what the Ole Miss Rebels, Coach Freeze, and this superb 2013 recruit class can accomplish!
